About SAP HANA Software

When an SAP hardware partner ships SAP HANA, it is pre-configured with the most recent support package stack at the time of shipment. If SAP HANA software requires updating, it is the customer’s responsibility to implement subsequent patches, revisions, support packages, and support package
stacks. In certain cases, hardware vendors may offer special services such as patching the SAP HANA systems. In this case it would be the responsibility of the hardware vendor to patch the system.
